Social Worker, Psychotherapist and/or Psychologist (Build towards full time) in Lindsay, Ontario .

Locations: Lindsay, Ontario

Availability: Day/evening

Start date: November 2025

Trauma Resolution Centre is seeking experienced Psychotherapists to provide evidence-based treatment for adults. You’ll join a supportive, trauma-informed team making a meaningful impact in our community.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments and develop collaborative treatment plans for individuals and/or couples.

  • Provide individual and/or couples therapy using a range of evidence-based modalities through a trauma-informed lens.

  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation aligned with your regulatory college’s standards.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

  • Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices.

  • Foster a safe, nurturing therapeutic relationship to support healing and growth.

  • Work proficiently within the established policies and procedures of the Trauma Resolution Centre

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field.

  • Current registration in good standing with your Ontario regulatory College.

  • Maintain professional liability insurance (Ontario).

  • Demonstrated competence treating a broad spectrum of adult mental health concerns.

  • Training in trauma-based reprocessing interventions is an asset (e.g., EMDR, IFS, Deep Brain Reorienting, Brainspotting).

  • Advanced training in evidenced-based interventions is an asset.

  • Experience with First Responders (including family members) is an asset.

  • Experience with third-party insurers (e.g., WSIB, NIHB, Blue Cross) is an asset.

  • Strong communication skills;

  • Commitment to ongoing learning and consultation.
