With no referral needed, our secure online platform offers convenient access to comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnostics, and treatments.

How does it work?

  • Step 1

    Contact us to schedule an assessment.

    Over the phone you will complete a pre-screener to determine whether our assessments would be a good fit.

    The Nurse Practitioner will review and we will contact you with booking availability.

  • Step 2

    Our administrative will send you some questionnaires to complete prior to your appointment with our Nurse Practitioner.

    If you are completing an ADHD Assessment, your family members or someone close to you will be asked to provide collateral information.

  • Step 3

    You will meet with the Nurse Practitioner virtually. This is when you will have time to explain your concerns, symptoms, challenges, and past medical history.

    Your session is approximately 60 minutes in length.

    The NP may also speak to your collateral sources.

  • Step 4

    Treatment recommendations and diagnosis (if applicable) will be provided.

  • Step 5

    If applicable, medication will be prescribed.

    If you have a family physician, your diagnosis and treatment recommendations will be sent to them.

    If you do not have a physician, medical monitoring will continue an as needed basis and are usually up to 30 minutes in length. *New patients who require medication must agree to seeing the NP a minimum 3 times.

  • Step 6

    If you require additional treatment, you have access to our comprehensive services including Psychotherapy and Neurofeedback.

General Psychiatric Assessments: $375.00

ADHD Assessment: $650.00

Follow-up appointments: $100.00

Shortened follow up: $40.00

Reports: Starting at $125.00

Paperwork sent to physician: $55.00

Letters: $100.00

Credit card information is obtained when you schedule your appointment. Payment is due at the beginning of the assessment, and a detailed receipt will be provided.

24 Cancellation Policy is in effect: If you cancel within less of 24 hours you will be charged the full price of your appointment.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. Anyone in Ontario between the ages of 18-60 are eligible.

  • You are able to self-refer.

    If you have a primary care physician, you will be asked to provide consent in order to share the details of your assessment, and medication recommendations (if applicable).

  • Unfortunately not, Nurse Practitioners in Ontario are not able to bill OHIP directly.

    The assessment fee may be eligible as a medical expense on your income taxes and some extended health benefits (particularly health care spending accounts) may cover the cost of the assessment. Please check with your benefits administrator before booking to enquire.

  • Diagnosing ADHD and mental health concerns is a complex process, and we strive to ensure accuracy. Our Nurse Practitioners will conduct a thorough assessment and provide a diagnosis if the criteria are met. In some instances, further evaluation may be necessary to rule out other potential diagnoses causing your symptoms. If this is the case, the Nurse Practitioner may need to meet with you additional times before making a diagnosis or may refer you to another specialist for further testing and assessment.

  • Yes, Nurse Practitioners are medical providers that are authorized to diagnose, order diagnostic tests and prescribe medication.

  • Yes, if you meet the criteria for medical treatment, our Nurse Practitioner can start your treatment. If you have a family physician, they will communicate your treatment recommendations to them.

  • It depends. Our Nurse Practitioner can complete forms for school or workplace accommodations, but there are other forms that will require your primary care physician to complete.

  • Many symptoms also occur during periods of high stress, anxiety, and mood disorders. While you might experience some symptoms similar to those associated with ADHD, anxiety and mood disorders, an official diagnosis requires meeting the criteria outlined in the DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual).

  • We are not available 24/7 and we are unable to respond to crisis situations.
